Kariba Star Houseboat

Kariba Star is a well maintained and comfortable dolphin cruiser that caters comfortably for 6 guests in two twin cabins .The galley and dining area are combined on the lower deck with ample cold space and fully fitted kitchen. There is a comfortable shaded top deck area with seating and enough space for extra sleeping accommodation.

Facilities include:

• 2 Twin cabins (extra bedding for those sleeping on deck)
• 1 shower, 2 toilets and wash basins
• 12V fans in cabins
• Fitted kitchen with ample cold space
• Carpets throughout
• 1 x 8cu ft. deep freeze, 1 x fixed cold box, 1x free cold box
• Partially covered top deck with comfortable seating
• Power supply 220V and 12V
• 1 x small speedboat tender for fishing and game viewing
• 2 Crew (Captain, chef/deck hand)
• Moored at Marineland Harbour
• Boarding 12:00pm and disembarking at 10:00am

2012 dry boat charter rate: $330.00/night off peak and $350.00 on peak for up to 8 passengers inclusive of Taxes.

Rates include:

• Houseboat and tender boat hire
• Crew
• All linen and mosquito nets
• All taxes and levies

Rates Exclude:

• All fuel and outboard oil (the main vessel, tender boats and generators will be full before departure- on return to harbour at the end of the trip you will be required to re-fuel these and settle in USD cash at that time)
• Fuel consumption is approximately 60 litres diesel per night for the main vessel and 15 litres petrol per tender per night
• All meals, drinks, condiments, toilet paper, serviettes, washing liquid, soap and persoget nal toiletries etc.
• Fishing equipment and bait
• Ice (recommended 4 blocks per day during winter and 5 blocks per day in the summer months)
• Swimming towels
• National Parks lake usage and fishing fees
• First aid kit
• Vehicle parking fees
• Crew gratuities

2 night charters - up to Antelope Island 
3 night charters - up to Palm bay
4 night charters - up to Sanyati west
5 night charters - up to Elephant point
6 nights or more - up to the Ume
