The Vessel is Captain Driven only |
Your own boat may be towed behind “Lady Jacqueline” - entirely at your own risk provided a maximum of two tender boats are towed at any one time. |
Fisherman: If you are a keen fisherman, bring your own rods, tackle and bait. |
Limited fishing tackle is available for hire from the crew at an approx. cost of R50 per person, per day. |
There is an H2O water purification system on the vessel, and it delivers safe drinking water. If you are worried about this, then please order bottled water which will be deducted from your allocation. |

Please do note that, as always, park fees, taxes and levies are subject to change according to government legislation. If applicable, any increases will be for your account. |
Please note that until full and final payment is received, we reserve the right to amend rates based on the rate of exchange/ currency fluctuations and/or market conditions and/or increases imposed by suppliers and/or any unforeseen circumstances. |
Kindly note that your booking remains provisional and subject to cancellation. No bookings are guaranteed until full and final payment has been received into our account. |

RATES |
Unless otherwise stated, all rates are denominated in USD |

Rates quoted are per person. |
FLAME OF AFRICA reserve the right to change rates without prior notice. |
Rates are subject to availability. |
Unless otherwise stated all rates exclude park fees, tourist levies, conservancy fees and government fees. |

PLEASE REMEMBER TO CARRY YOUR PARK FEES AND FISHING LICENSES IN CASH IN USD (Approx. USD 10 per person, per day, for each) |
The levies will be payable by you to the National Parks official that may intercept the cruiser on exiting the Harbour. If there is no park official, please pay it to our crew who will then pay on your behalf. |

BOOKINGS |

All clients must be in possession of a valid travel voucher and will need to present this prior to embarking on the Lady J |
All bookings are strictly subject to availability. |

CHILDREN |
Children under 12 pay half price. Children under 5 stay free of charge. |
|
PAYMENT |
Please note that all payments are directly into our bank account. |
Credit card: Should credit card facilities be required an admin charge is applicable (MasterCard/ Visa = 3%). |
Please note we do not accept cheque payments. |
Bank Charges: Please make allowance for bank charges as these are strictly for the clients account. Payments made outside of South Africa are charged as follows: 0.5% Min R185 Max R460. Please remember to allow for processing time between the banks, we suggest 10 working days. |
Please note that funds must clear into our account prior to the release of travel documents. |

CANCELLATION/ AMENDMENT POLICY |
Any Cancellations/Amendments made by the client will affect the total per person tour price with regards to transport costs & the booking will be re-costed at the new passenger numbers. |
Once an invoice has been issued, an administration charge of 10% on the invoice total (minimum R1000) plus bank charges is due. |
60 - 45 days prior to departure 50% of tour cost. |
44 - 30 days prior to departure 60% of tour cost. |
29 days prior to departure 100% of tour cost. |
Flame of Africa will endeavor to negotiate any cancellation fees, but no guarantees are made. |
Terms and Conditions of the Booking: |
This invoice reflects bookings as requested by the client, It confirms that all the principals/ airlines have accepted the booking, as stated on the invoice. |
Once payment clears, Flame of Africa accepts that the client is satisfied with the bookings as stated and all subsequent changes and/ or correction |
will be for the client's account. |

REJECTION |
FLAME OF AFRICA reserve the right to refuse to carry any passenger on any the Lady Jacqueline should they so choose. |
This is entirely at FLAME OF AFRICA managements' discretion. |

It is strongly recommended by Flame of Africa that all clients take out a travel insurance policy. |
|
VARIATION OF TERMS & CONDITIONS |
No variation of these terms and conditions shall be binding unless communicated in writing by FLAME OF AFRICA |
|
DURATION |
The agreement validity is as stated on the rate sheet and it supersedes any previous agreement. |
BREACH |
10.1 Should ANY of these terms and conditions itemized above not be fully complied with, FLAME OF AFRICA reserves |
the right to: |
i) Cancel reservations. |
ii) Withdraw rates. |
iii) Withdraw any other special trading arrangements. |
iv) Terminate the contract. |
v) Take legal action as necessary. |

TERMINATION |
FLAME OF AFRICA reserves the right to terminate this agreement by giving the agent one months' notice. |
|
LEGALITY |
This agreement is non-assignable and shall be constructed and have effect according to the laws of South Africa. |
|
FORCE MAJEURE |
FLAME OF AFRICA shall not be obliged to perform any obligation under the Contract if such performance is rendered impossible, substantially more difficult or delayed as a result of Acts, Orders or Regulations issued by Central or Local Government, industrial disputes (whether official or unofficial), war, riots, hostilities, flood, fire, accident, act of God, epidemic, failure or shortage of supplies or from any other cause, event or occurrence which FLAME OF AFRICA is either unable to prevent having due regard to its interests. FLAME OF AFRICA shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost or delay arising from or as a result of such non-performance. The onus is on the operator to ensure that their clients are in possession of adequate travel insurance. |
