MIRABEL

We have pleasure in advising  that the above mentioned booking has been reserved for you.  Your booking will only be confirmed on receipt of the completed and signed Conditions and Agreement of Chartering and a deposit set out below:

Payment

• • A 25% deposit is payable as soon as you confirm your booking.
  • One month prior to departure the balance is due payable
  • If monies are not received by the due dates, we are entitled, on behalf of the owners, to cancel your booking and retain your deposit.

Cancellations

• • Automatically 25% of the full charter fee if the booking is cancelled
  • Less than 60 days from departure, 50% of the full charter fee
  • Less than 30 days prior to departure, the full charter fee will be forfeited
  • No refunds are given on “no shows” or where a person leaves tour before its due end
  • In all circumstances, we will endeavor to resell a charter, if we do, there will be a refund less the stipulated 25%.
  • Mirabel is berthed at Marineland Harbour. Boarding times will be from 12.00 pm to 2.00 pm and if boarding any time later than 2.00 pm, it will be the Captain’s decision in the interest of safety of the boat whether to leave harbor that day or the following morning.
  • Mirabel is chartered at “bare boat rate” which is excluding fuel, food and drink.
  • Please note tender boats and main boat will only be allowed to move at first light. The Captain has the final decision and clients are to respect this.
  • On arrival Mirabel shall have all fuel tanks full. Please check this with the Captain before departure, so as to avoid any misunderstandings. The tender boats will need to be fuelled up before departure. Upon return to harbor, it is the party leader undersigned  who will be responsible for the refueling of all tanks and sign acknowledgement with the Captain.

• Please note National Parks charges a Lake entry fee which covers a period of 2 to 7 days:
• Zimbabwean Residents                US$5 per person for entry
• Non-residents US$10  per person for entry
• Fishing permits – Zim Res US$5 per person fishing per day
• Fishing permits – Non-Res US$10 per person fishing per day
• The above is payable direct to the National Parks and ZIMRA officials who will approach clients in the harbor prior to departing on a charter. Please notice all prices are subject to change without notice.

• Tipping is at the discretion of the party leader.

• Swimming is entirely at your own risk, and neither the owners nor ourselves, can be held responsible for any possible animal attacks, or the consequences from these attacks.

TO USE THE BOAT MIRABEL ON THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. I undertake that I will not interfere in any way with the operation of the boat and tenders by the Captain, Driver and agree that should he advise against any instructions given to him by myself I will abide by his advice and that in all respects generally I shall refer to him as being in charge.

1. I hereby waive and abandon any claims against the owners for and on behalf of myself and other passengers in respect of death or bodily injuries sustained by myself or them or any of us. We further agree that the company will not be liable to compensate myself  or any of the passengers for any loss or damage of property sustained whilst traveling upon or embarking from the boat or tenders during the above mentioned periods of use.

1. It is agreed that I and the above mentioned passengers will travel on the boat and tenders entirely at our own risk.

1. The company reserves the right to refuse to accept or retain any person on a charter at any time would such persons physical or mental conditions or general health conditions, general attitude and deportment impede the operation of the charter or the welfare and enjoyment of other passengers.

1. I agree to replace or pay for any equipment or fittings lost through negligence on my or any passengers’ behalf.

1. The boats facilities are to be used for the purpose for which they are intended. Please reframe from abusing furniture, fittings and equipment of the boat.  The crew are instructed to make sure this is adhered to.

1. It is agreed that The owners of Mirabel cannot be held responsible for any expenses incurred by myself or any of the other passengers, eg: hotel bills or loss of any onward connections for any reason whatsoever.

1. I agree to all terms and conditions.

1. Whilst every effort is made to ensure that highest standards of maintenance of all our vessels and tender boats, a breakdown could occur at any time which is beyond our control. Any such problem will be rectified as soon as humanly possible to do so under the prevailing conditions.
