The Umbozha offers you 9 cabins, each with en-suite shower and WC, all with stunning lake views and beautiful teak furnishings. Every cabin is fully air-conditioned and boasts a unique contemporary feel. The boat has an expansive lounge and dining area, offering panoramic views,coupled with stylish interiors.

A staircase leads from the lounge to the top deck, from where our captain sails the vessel. From there you have

a bird’s eye view of the landscape and is a great place to relax on a day bed in the open air.

You may prefer to escape the heat of the midday sun with a dip in the pool or to kick back and relax on the sun loungers, all the while surrounded by endless views of stunning African scenery.

KARIBA SAFARI LODGE – Umbohza HOUSEBOAT

After leaving Harare and driving to Makuti for approximately 290km, turn left off the main road at Makuti and follow Kariba Town directional signage. Drive for approximately 60km before reaching the Kariba Airport on your left, stay on the main road for another 14km before you come to a T-junction. Turn left. Continue for another 1.9km to Mica Drive (third road on the left). Turn left. Drive approximately 1.2km down Mica Drive and follow Kariba Safari Lodge directional signage. Turn left off Mica Drive to head down the private access road to Kariba Safari Lodge. There is a check in point shortly after a sharp left-hand bend.

Houseboat Charter Payment Policy All Houseboat charter bookings are subject to the below deposit and payment policy.

Bookings will only be guaranteed if performed in accordance with the below, if there is a request for a booking and you or your client has not paid or forwarded a proof of payment within the below provisional period the booking will automatically be released to the new client

More than 180 days prior to charter date:  10 % Deposit Paid within 10 Days of provisional invoice Between 180 and 90 days to charter date:  20 % Deposit Paid within 5 Days of provisional invoice Between 90 days and 60 Days to charter date:  50% Deposit Paid within 3 Days of provisional invoice Less than 60 Days to charter date  100 % payment within 3 days of provisional invoice

Please note:  Balance of ALL outstanding amounts for charter invoices must be received at least 90 days prior to the charter date. Failure to comply will result in the booking being released and all prepaid deposits forfeited  All bookings will be held in provisional status while waiting for the applicable deposit or proof of payment .  Once the deposit is received the booking will be regarded as confirmed and you will be subject to the applicable cancellation policy.
